Accuracy Validation Demo Yields Stunning Results

The CompassData team participated in a demonstration project with DroneDeploy, a UAS services provider, to compare the accuracy of orthoimagery and digital elevation models (DEM) processed with and without ground control points (GCPs). FAA Notifies CompassData of DO-200A Certification

After a long and rigorous process, the FAA has notified CompassData that we have received DO-200A certification for Standards of Processing Aeronautical Data. This means that CompassData has been approved to provide ground control points and to verify the accuracy of orthoimagery for use in the creation of digital aviation navigation products that will be utilized in the cockpits of aircraft. The first to receive DO-200A certification for ground control, CompassData joins a small and elite group of companies approved to provide map data for aircraft navigation and situational awareness products… More

CompassData Buys Trimble UX5 UAS

CompassData Featured in Earth Imaging Journal
